The Rotary Club of Adliya was thrilled to have the honour of Mr. Akram Miknas, the founder of the now ubiquitous Promoseven Holdings group, under whose umbrella reside some of the most sought after brands in Advertising and PR (amongst other pursuits) who was the featured guest speaker at the Club’s regular meeting on 23 March 2009.

There is no hiding that it is probably due to him that our gathering for last night was 56%, a good average for our meetings, but the attendance was 26 Rotarians from virtually all three clubs in Bahrain. It was standing room only for those who came a few minutes late!

Rotarian Dr. Sajida Tabbara followed up that presentation with one of her own in which she emphasized some aspects of Rotary Volunteer work and explained how one might participate in such a program.
