In an effort to streamline the Club’s communications, we have introduced a new Rotary Club of Adliya website at http://rotaryadliya.org and through that domain, we have also created new email addresses for every club member. Please keep this letter as it contains important information on how to access your email and customise it to your own needs.
Your new email address is: first@rotaryadliya.org
You can access your email in two ways; either online using a Webmail portal, or by setting up your regular email client (Outlook etc).
To access your email through the Webmail interface, use the following:
- Webmail interface: https://webmail.rotaryadliya.org
login name: first@rotaryadliya.org
password: password
To set up your email client to send/receive rotaryadliya.org email, input the following information in your account set-up section:
- POP setup:
account type: POP incoming mail server: rotaryadliya.org
username: first@rotaryadliya.org
password: password
outgoing mail server: rotaryadliya.org
user authentication: YES
username: first@rotaryadliya.org
password: password
There are other features that we will be rolling out in the near future, those will be announced on our new website, so please do keep a watch on the happenings there. You can subscribe to an RSS feed of the site at http://rotaryadliya.org/feed or by email by entering your email in the subscription box.
Changing your password:
Obviously the password provided above should be temporary, it is in your interest to immediately change it to something that you can remember, but not easily guessed. I would advise you using a password of at least 8 characters and numbers and as passwords are case sensitive, use both capital and lower case letters. You could also use other characters but no spaces. The system is set not to accept the account name with numbers as a password, so be a bit more creative! Sites like goodpassword.com can be used to generate unique passwords, you might want to give that a try.
To change your password, please go to:
Enter your username as your full email address and the initial password given above and once the control panel loads, click on Preferences and select a new password for your account.

You might encounter a warning by your browser stating that the “security certificate” is not correct for the site you’re visiting, something like this:
You will notice various other features that you can change and customise through the Control Panel. You might want to spend a few minutes investigating them. You could set an “away message” for instance in the Autoresponders menu-item.
To change your password, click on the Preferences button, then fill in the new password in the password fields provided:
Setting up Microsoft Outlook (and other email clients)
The following screens should help you to set up Microsoft Outlook or other mail clients to use your new email account:
Please notice the “Account name:” setting requires that you enter your full email address as your username.
You also need to select the “My server requires authentication” button and then click on the “settings” button to go to the next screen:
Once you’ve done all that, you are ready to use your new rotaryadliya.org email.
To review, the “Account Property” panel in Outlook should look like this:
Should you require any help at all with using the site or your new email address, please do contact me. I hope that these new features will assist us all in keeping in contact and exert even more effort in serving our community.
